Novig, a peer-to-peer, "no-vig" sports prediction exchange, is offering new users $25 in trade credits in exchange for a deposit of at least $10. The promotion follows Novig's recent nationwide rollout in the US and is being distributed through several different referral or promo codes published by various US sports news outlets: USA Today ("SBWIRE"), Mile High Sports ("MILE"), NOLA.com ("NOLA"), and Sports Betting Dime ("DIME"). Regardless of which code is used, the underlying terms of the offer are the same.
How It Works
To claim the bonus, a new user must register on the Novig app or website, complete identity verification, enter the relevant code during sign-up, and make a deposit of at least $10. Once the deposit clears, $25 in credit is added to the account. According to USA Today, the credit is issued not as one lump sum but as five separate $5 credits, each of which must be used in full on a single trade on contracts priced between 1 and 60 cents; any unused portion is forfeited rather than carried over. Each credit expires 30 days after it is issued. Winnings from credit-funded trades are paid out as ordinary cash with no additional wagering requirements.

The sources disagree on several points. USA Today states the offer is limited to users aged 21 and older, while Mile High Sports, NOLA.com, and Sports Betting Dime cite an 18+ age requirement. USA Today is also the only source noting that the offer is unavailable in Arizona, Michigan, and Nevada. The outlets also tie the promotion to different sporting events: USA Today and NOLA.com link it to NFL Week 1 games, including Buffalo–Houston and New York Jets–Tennessee Titans; Mile High Sports ties it to the Week 2 college football matchup between Ohio State and Texas; and Sports Betting Dime ties it to the Missouri–Kansas game.
