Nvidia RTX Spark: First AI-Focused PCs Debut at IFA 2026
At the IFA 2026 tech show in Berlin, Nvidia and partner manufacturers showcased the first laptops and mini PCs built around the RTX Spark chip, designed to run AI workloads locally. Pricing remains unannounced but is expected to be high.

At the IFA 2026 technology show in Berlin, Nvidia gave the public its first hands-on look at devices powered by its RTX Spark chip, three months after the chip was originally unveiled. Among the first devices shown is the Lenovo Yoga 9n, a 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop with a 360-degree hinge. It features an OLED touchscreen with 2880x1800 resolution, a 120-Hz refresh rate, a six-speaker sound system, and a 9.2-megapixel webcam.
The laptop measures just 0.69 inches thick, nearly matching the slimness of the 16-inch MacBook Pro. This is enabled by Nvidia's Arm-based chip, which combines a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 cores into a single system-on-a-chip, similar in design philosophy to Apple's approach. Based on core count, the integrated GPU's performance is estimated to fall between an RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080. The Yoga 9n's memory is capped at 64 GB.
More models on the way
A smaller 15-inch variant, the Yoga Pro 9n, is also planned, offering up to 128 GB of memory and a touchpad that supports stylus input. Additional laptops from other manufacturers are expected this fall, including the Dell XPS 16, Asus ProArt P16, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and the smaller 14-inch HP OmniBook X.
New mini desktop PCs built on RTX Spark were also announced, including the Acer SFF RTX Spark and Asus ProArt Mini PC, both roughly the size of a Mac Mini, offering up to 128 GB of memory and a claimed one petaflop of AI performance. Competing options include Lenovo's ThinkCentre X Ultra, built on AMD's Ryzen Max+ Pro 495 chip, starting at $3,699.
The goal of these devices is to let users run AI models locally rather than relying on the cloud, reducing dependence on internet connectivity and better protecting sensitive data. Exact pricing for RTX Spark devices has not yet been disclosed, but given rising memory costs, the systems are expected to carry a premium price tag.
