Ojārs Siliņš Helps Legia Warsaw Win Polish Championship

Latvian basketball player Ojārs Siliņš contributed five points as Legia Warsaw triumphed in the Polish championship on Sunday, defeating Zastal Zielona Góra 78-70 (17:19, 29:19, 20:23, 12:9) in Game 7 of the series. Siliņš played 20 minutes and 51 seconds, making one of three two-point attempts and one of four three-point attempts. He also recorded one assist, four personal fouls, a plus-minus of +11, and an efficiency rating of one.

Andrzej Pluta led Legia with 15 points and five assists. Ray Thompson contributed 11 points and nine rebounds, while Dominik Bruto also scored 11 points along with five assists. For the visitors, Shavon Lewis, Javon Mosmer, and Andrzej Mazurczak each scored ten points. Legia also finished first in the regular season of the Polish league.
