Overnight into August 20, a large-scale blackout struck the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula, according to the monitoring channel "Krymsky Veter." Monitoring data indicated a complete power outage in Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kerch, Feodosia and Yalta.

Reports of drones and explosions

Local residents said that shortly before the power went out in Feodosia, three drones were heard flying overhead, along with chaotic gunfire from mobile air-defense units and three explosions near the "Kafa" electrical substation.
