Former NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo has publicly appealed to league teams for another opportunity, publishing an open letter addressed to NBA general managers. In it, he states his belief that his body is finally back in order and that he can contribute both on the court and as a positive presence in the locker room.

History of injuries

Oladipo's career has been repeatedly derailed by knee injuries. In 2019 he suffered a serious right knee injury, after which he never again played more than 42 games in a single NBA season. In April 2023, while with the Miami Heat, he injured his left knee — an injury that has so far kept him out of the league.

Last season in the G League

Working to regain form, Oladipo spent last season in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd. Across 26 games, he averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

Career numbers

Over ten NBA seasons, including two All-Star selections, Oladipo has averaged 16.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He now hopes an NBA team will give him the chance to prove himself again on the court.
