OnePlus Ends Phone Releases in US and Europe
OnePlus has officially announced it will stop launching new smartphones in North America and Europe, shifting focus to India and China.

OnePlus, which burst onto the scene in 2014 with bold marketing and a promise of cheaper, faster phones, has confirmed it is ending new product rollouts in North America and Europe. The move had been anticipated for months, as the company increasingly shifted its focus to India after the pandemic and came under tighter control of parent company Oppo.
While OnePlus previously denied rumors of a shutdown, its latest statement confirms the decision. "As part of the proactive global strategy adjustment, OnePlus has decided to conclude new product rollouts in Europe and North America," the official post reads. This means the OnePlus 15, launched in late 2025, will be the last flagship many consumers in these regions see.
Current-generation OnePlus phones remain on sale in the US and Europe, and the company will continue software support. However, with the Android 17 update, OnePlus devices globally will switch from OxygenOS to Oppo's ColorOS. New device releases will be limited to India and China for now, with rumors suggesting OnePlus may cease operations in India as well by 2027.
