Orkla Latvia adds Swedish candy brand BUBS to its portfolio
Orkla Latvia is expanding its product range by introducing BUBS, a popular Swedish candy brand, in four flavor varieties. The brand is known for its natural ingredients and vegan-friendly recipes.
Food production company Orkla Latvia has expanded its brand lineup with BUBS, one of Sweden's fastest-growing candy brands, which has also gained popularity elsewhere in Europe and in the United States.
Four BUBS candy flavors are now entering the Latvian market. Three are foam-textured candies: banana-toffee, strawberry-vanilla, and tutti frutti. The fourth is a jelly-type candy with lemon-raspberry flavor.
Natural ingredients and vegan formula
The manufacturer notes that the candies are made using natural ingredients, contain no gluten, and are suitable for vegans. BUBS has been producing confectionery since 1992.
The brand is now fully integrated into Orkla Snacks. Its production facility is located in Jönköping, Sweden, employing 70 workers, and the company describes it as one of the most modern and sustainable manufacturing facilities in the Nordic region.
With the introduction of the new brand, Orkla Latvia continues to broaden its offering on the local confectionery market.
