OSINT analyst publishes satellite image showing aftermath of strike on Russian drone base in Bryansk Oblast
A satellite image released by an OSINT analyst shows that a Ukrainian strike on a drone storage and launch site in Russia's Bryansk Oblast hit underground facilities used to store warheads and fuel for Geran-2 and Gerbera drones.
An OSINT analyst known as Harbuz, from the Dnipro Osint project, has published a satellite image showing the aftermath of a Ukrainian strike on a storage and launch site for Geran-2 and Gerbera drones near the town of Navlya in Russia's Bryansk Oblast. The strike took place on 1 August. According to Dnipro Osint, the attack hit all three underground storage facilities that were used to hold warheads and fuel for the drones.
The satellite image reveals impact craters and traces of secondary detonations. Harbuz noted that large craters are visible at the explosion sites. Near one of the storage facilities, there are signs of secondary explosions and fire spreading from the entrances to the underground shelter. In the analyst's assessment, the evidence suggests that at least one of the three underground storage facilities was successfully struck.
Earlier, Ukraine's General Staff reported that on the night of 3–4 August, defence forces struck a repair and maintenance base of an artillery brigade, a facility used to prepare strike drones, logistics warehouses, and other Russian military targets.
