Oskars Cibulskis to Continue with Danish Champions Herning Blue Fox
Latvian hockey defenseman Oskars Cibulskis will play another season for Herning Blue Fox, the club announced. The 38-year-old will spend his fourth consecutive season with the Danish champions.

Herning Blue Fox announced on Wednesday that Latvian defenseman Oskars Cibulskis will continue with the team for the upcoming season. The club highlighted his experience, leadership qualities and professional approach, stating that Cibulskis has become an important part of the club's culture and identity.
Last season, Cibulskis helped Blue Fox win the Danish championship. In the regular season, he recorded 28 points (6 goals, 22 assists) in 44 games with an impressive +/- rating of +44. In the playoffs, he added four assists in 13 games with a +10 rating.
Cibulskis's career includes stints with Salzburg in Austria, Hradec Kralove, Litvinov and Kladno in the Czech Republic, as well as Brynas in Sweden. He spent eight seasons with Dinamo Riga in the Kontinental Hockey League.
For the Latvian national team, Cibulskis has played in 12 World Championships, including winning bronze in 2023, and participated in two Olympic Games.
