Latvia's top tennis player Aļona Ostapenko has kept her 29th position in the latest WTA singles rankings. She did not play in any tournaments last week, so her spot remained unchanged. This week, Ostapenko is scheduled to appear at the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto.

Darja Semeņistaja, the country's second-highest ranked player, dropped six places to No. 112. Several other Latvian women also fell: career-ending Anastasija Sevastova lost ten places (307.), Beatrise Zeltiņa dropped eight (430.), Sabīne Rutlauka slipped 11 (720.), Elza Tomase lost ten (740.), Adelīna Lačinova fell ten (789.) and Kamilla Bartone dropped six (815.).

The only improvement among Latvian players came from Diāna Marcinkēviča, who rose 12 positions to No. 859. Elsewhere, Daniela Vismane dropped 17 spots (1058.), while Daniela Dārta Feldmane and Anna Ozerova each fell 14 (1263. and 1531. respectively).

At the top of the WTA singles ranking, only the lower half of the top 10 changed. Belarusian Arina Sabalenka remains No. 1, followed by Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina. Americans Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff are next, with Russian Mirra Andreeva in fifth. Czech players Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova occupy sixth and seventh, Poland's Iga Swiatek is eighth, and Ukraine's Elina Svitolina moved up to ninth. The top 10 is completed by American Amanda Anisimova.

In doubles, Ostapenko holds steady at No. 17, with Czech Katerina Siniakova still leading the ranking. Most Latvian players slid in this list as well: Semeņistaja fell three (170.), Zeltiņa one (339.), Tomase six (531.), Sevastova seven (548.), Bartone two (648.), Marcinkēviča 13 (879.) and Feldmane eight (972.). Nine more Latvian doubles players are outside the top 1,000.
