Blood Donation Possible at Three Mobile Units on Tuesday
On Tuesday, July 21, the State Blood Donor Centre (VADC) is holding mobile blood drives in Tukums, Gulbene, and Riga, calling for donors, especially those with O-, A-, and B- blood types.

Today, July 21, the State Blood Donor Centre (VADC) is organizing three mobile blood donation sites. Donors are welcome from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Tukums Ice Hall (Stadiona iela 3) and the Gulbene Culture Centre (Oskara Kalpaka iela 60). In Riga, a specialized bus will be stationed from 10 AM to 2 PM near the "TV3 Group" building at Dzelzavas iela 120.
VADC emphasizes that all blood types are currently needed, especially donors with types 0-, A-, and B-.
Blood can also be donated at permanent donation sites. In Riga, these are located at Sēlpils iela 9, as well as at the "Gaiļezers" and "Saktā" donor centers (Hipokrāta iela 2 and Brīvības bulvāris 32, respectively). Permanent sites also operate at Daugavpils Regional Hospital (Viestura iela 5), the Kurzeme branch in Liepāja (Slimnīcas iela 25), Jelgava City Hospital (Brīvības bulvāris 6), Vidzeme Hospital in Valmiera (Jumaras iela 195), and the Latgale branch in Rēzekne (18. novembra iela 41).
