Latvia can expect dry and mostly sunny weather on Tuesday, according to forecasters. Air temperatures will rise to between +9 and +13 degrees Celsius, and no significant precipitation is expected. The conditions are being driven by an area of high atmospheric pressure.
Clouds will only partly cover the sky, so the sun will be out across most of the country. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the south and southwest. Along the coast the wind will be a little stronger: in Ventspils, a port city on Latvia's western coast, gusts will reach 16 metres per second.

No precipitation is expected in the Latvian capital. Cloud cover will thin out, and the light to moderate wind will blow from the south and southwest. The air in Riga will warm to +12 degrees.
Atmospheric pressure
Sea-level atmospheric pressure will range from 1,018 hectopascals around Ventspils to 1,024 hectopascals in Latgale, in eastern Latvia.
