According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Tuesday will continue the rainy pattern. The night will feature variable cloud cover, with brief showers in many areas, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. A light to moderate southwesterly wind will blow, with gusty conditions along the coast early in the night. Temperatures will drop to +8°C to +13°C, warmer near the sea at +13°C to +16°C.
In Riga, the night will bring variable clouds, occasional rain, and possible thunderstorms with heavy downpours. The wind will be light to moderate from the southwest, and the air will cool to +11°C to +12°C.
During the day, cloud cover will increase, with isolated showers. In the evening, a large precipitation zone will approach from the southwest, bringing rain to western Latvia. Maximum temperatures will reach +16°C to +21°C. In the capital, rain is expected in the afternoon, with occasional sunny spells. A light to moderate southerly wind will blow, and the temperature will peak at around +20°C.
