Pakruojis Manor Hosts Eighth Summer Flower Festival
Starting June 27, the Pakruojis Manor in Lithuania will hold its eighth Summer Flower Festival, featuring over 450 flower varieties, Shakespeare-inspired floral sculptures, and outdoor theater performances.

Love Through Flowers
This year's festival centers on love, expressed through flower colors and forms. Early summer will see blue and violet tones in the park, creating a dreamy atmosphere, later transitioning to reds and pinks. Visitors can enjoy not only colorful flower beds but also a special garden dedicated to men and an exhibition of poisonous plants.
Shakespearean Inspiration
The manor park is adorned with floral sculptures inspired by William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," including a donkey with long ears and Puck with a pink gaze, created by renowned Lithuanian artists. All summer, the manor transforms into an open-air stage where actors perform a comedic story about preparations for the baron's sister's wedding.
Manor Farm and Activities
Festival-goers can explore the historic manor farm with goats, ducklings, peacocks, and a cow named Pupšytė, who recently gave birth to twins named Count and Baron. Daily activities include milking and egg collection. Additional attractions include craft workshops, a 19th-century photography process, historical costumes, a carousel, and outdoor games. The manor is open daily from 12:00 PM; tickets and information are available at www.pakrojasmuiza.lv.
