TechCrunch has issued a reminder that the application window for hosting an official Side Event during TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 is closing fast. Applications must be submitted before midnight Pacific Time tonight.

Disrupt 2026 will take place in San Francisco from October 10 to 16, drawing more than 10,000 founders, investors, partners and other tech industry figures. Side Events give companies and communities a way to engage with this crowd before, during and after the main conference through formats such as meetups, happy hours, panels or workshops of their own design.

What approval brings

An approved Side Event gains visibility through the official Side Events page, the conference agenda, the mobile app, attendee emails, a dedicated TechCrunch article and TechCrunch's social channels. Hosts can also offer their audience a 25% discount on Disrupt tickets.

TechCrunch notes that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance — every application is reviewed by its events team, and only approved events are included in the official program. Organizers remain responsible for all logistics and costs tied to their event.

For those not planning to host an event but still wanting to attend, tickets remain available at up to $200 off before prices rise after September 25.
