Panathinaikos signs long-term contract extension with Hernangomez until 2030
Greek basketball club Panathinaikos has agreed to a long-term contract extension with power forward Juancho Hernangomez, keeping him at the club until 2030.

Panathinaikos has announced a contract extension with 30-year-old power forward Juancho Hernangomez. The Spanish player joined the Greek club in 2023 and had one season remaining on his previous deal, but negotiations this summer resulted in a new agreement that will keep him with the team through 2030.
During the past season, Hernangomez averaged 9.6 points and 6 rebounds per game in the Greek top league. In the EuroLeague, he recorded 8 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
Before moving to Europe, Hernangomez played in the NBA from 2016 to 2023, representing the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, and San Antonio Spurs. His experience at the highest level makes him a key asset for Panathinaikos, and the club's long-term commitment reflects their confidence in his abilities.
