Vivi trains in Latvia to depart after clocks are turned back on the night of 25 October
Latvia switches to winter time on the night before Sunday, 25 October, with clocks moving back one hour. All trains run by rail operator Vivi, including the first night services, will depart after the change.

Latvia will switch to winter time at 04:00 on the night leading into Sunday, 25 October, with clocks turned back by one hour. The change affects the schedule of Vivi, the passenger rail operator, which has announced the adjustments itself.
According to Vivi representatives, so that trains reach their terminal stations in line with winter time, all of the company's services, including the first night trains, will depart after the clocks have been turned back.
Services to watch
Passengers are asked to pay particular attention to two services:
- the train from Zilupe at 03:31;
- the train from Daugavpils at 03:48.
These trains will also depart after the clock change, in line with winter time.
Advice for passengers
Vivi urges people to check whether their smart devices adjust to the new time automatically or whether it must be set manually, so that they arrive in good time for their planned train.
For questions about timetables, ticket purchases or other travel matters, passengers can call the Vivi customer service centre on the free 24-hour number 8760.
