Paris Hosts African Diaspora International Film Festival
Paris is holding the 16th edition of the African Diaspora International Film Festival (FIFDA) from September 4 to 6, screening 15 films from 13 countries. The festival gives African diaspora communities a platform to explore how societies confront the wounds of the past.

The program features 15 films from 13 countries, covering both fiction and non-fiction works, presented in feature-length and short formats.
Purpose of the festival
FIFDA offers a space for exploring how contemporary societies confront and work to overcome the wounds left by the past. At the same time, the festival amplifies the voices of members of African diaspora communities.
Guests at this year's edition included Lawrence Cole, co-executive producer of the film "Shadow of Greed," and Diarah N'Daw-Spech, FIFDA's co-founder and co-director.
