Paris Haute Couture Week 2026 wrapped up after four days of dazzling runways and scorching temperatures. The exclusive event, held twice a year, featured handmade designs from houses such as Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, Chanel, and Dior—each requiring hundreds of hours of craftsmanship.

Star-Studded Attendance

The shows drew a host of celebrities, including rapper Cardi B, singer Bad Bunny, actress Sabrina Carpenter, and actor Hudson Williams. Bad Bunny, on a break from his world tour, attended his first couture week in a butter-yellow suit. Actress Emma Corrin turned heads at Schiaparelli in a pastel feather jacket with talon-like details.

Notable Collections

Schiaparelli's creative director Daniel Roseberry titled his collection "The Call of the Void," describing it as a surrender to an unknown creative process. Pierpaolo Piccioli, in his debut couture show for Balenciaga, honored founder Cristóbal with flowing silhouettes and varied textures.

Duran Lantink, appointed permanent creative lead at Jean Paul Gaultier last April, presented a collection centered on transformation and playfulness, inspired by Marie Antoinette in a modern setting. Chanel's artistic director Matthieu Blazy created a whimsical fairy-tale backdrop with vines and beanstalks, featuring a model holding Coco Chanel's book of fairy tales.

Jonathan Anderson's Dior show sparked speculation about Taylor Swift's wedding dress, as his bridal-inspired looks were rumored to be linked to Swift and Travis Kelce's nuptials—though unconfirmed. Iris van Herpen debuted a scientific collection with plasma-filled glass tubes, while Alexis Mabille explored duality through garments that transformed into second looks.
