Paris-based Rayon raises €10 million to develop interior design tools

Rayon, a Paris-based company behind browser-based drawing software for interior designers, has closed a Series A funding round worth €10 million.

The round was led by investment firm Partech, with participation from existing investors Northzone, Foundamental, and Seedcamp. This brings Rayon's total funding raised to date to nearly €16 million.

Previous funding

The new round follows a €4 million seed round the company raised in September 2023. In under three years, Rayon has significantly scaled its capital base, moving from early seed backing to a more substantial growth-stage investment.

Rayon positions itself as a tool built for interior designers, describing its product as a kind of "drawing layer" for a sector that is increasingly incorporating artificial intelligence into its workflows. The company's approach centers on delivering its software directly through the browser rather than as a downloadable application, making it easier to access across different devices.

The funding reflects continued investor interest in digitalizing creative industries and in specialized tools aimed at professionals such as interior designers, who require modern solutions for visualizing and developing their projects.
