Party 'Latvijas attīstībai' Announces Candidates for Saeima Elections
The party 'Latvijas attīstībai' has unveiled 84 candidates for the 15th Saeima elections, including former ministers and well-known figures.

The political party 'Latvijas attīstībai' has announced its candidate list for the upcoming 15th Saeima elections. The list includes 84 people running in various electoral districts.
In the Vidzeme district, the party's chairman and former Minister of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Juris Pūce will be the first candidate. He is followed by Cēsis municipal council member Elīna Stapulone and Gulbene municipal council member.
In Riga, the list is led by Iveta Ratinīka, director of Riga Āgenskalns State Gymnasium and former Riga City Council member. The second candidate is another former Riga City Council member, Viesturs Zeps.
In the Latgale district, the first candidate is Andris Vaivods, a Līvāni municipal council member and former council chairman. This district's list consists of only six people.
In Zemgale, the first candidate is Aizkraukle municipal council chairman Leons Līdums. The second is former minister Artūrs Plešs, followed by Aizkraukle municipal council members Arvis Upīts and Gatis Gūtmanis.
In Kurzeme, the first candidate is party board member Edgars Jaunups, with former basketball player Anete Jēkabsone-Žogota in second place.
Elections for the 15th Saeima are scheduled for early October.
