Search for missing diver off Roja called off

The Coast Guard of the Naval Forces concluded the search operation for a missing diver in the Baltic Sea on Monday evening, July 13, approximately 10 nautical miles northeast of Roja. The missing diver was not located. The search operation lasted 38 hours, with water temperatures around 19 degrees Celsius. The Coast Guard decided to terminate the search after thoroughly scouring the area, taking into account weather conditions and water temperature. Further details regarding the diver's identity and the circumstances of his disappearance have not been disclosed. This is the second case this summer where a missing diver has been searched for in Latvian waters.
