World Cup: Panama vs England – Tuchel makes five changes to starting lineup

England take on Panama at the MetLife Stadium on Friday in the final round of Group L matches at the World Cup. Already qualified for the knockout stages, the Three Lions are looking for a win to finish top of the group.

Coach Thomas Tuchel has made five changes to his starting lineup from the previous match. Jarell Quansah earns his first World Cup start, replacing the injured right-back Reece James.

England were held to a frustrating draw by Ghana, who are level on four points in the group. Panama, on the other hand, are bottom of the group with zero points after two matches and hope to exit the tournament on a high note.

Panama's well-drilled defence could pose a challenge for England's attack. The match kicks off at 20:00 local time.
