The 2026 World Cup closing ceremony kicked off at the New York New Jersey Stadium with a range of performances. Streamer IShowSpeed took to the field first, joined by drummers and dancers in vibrant tracksuits. Jennifer Hudson performed the US national anthem accompanied by a live band.

After the performances, actor Tom Cruise took the stage to introduce the match. He told the crowd that football is a language spoken without words, a force that unites people. Italian singer Laura Pausini expressed excitement and pride to perform alongside Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger.

The half-time break, expected to last 20-25 minutes, will feature performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, and BTS. The show has been curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin and will raise money for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, aiming to raise $100 million for children worldwide.

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the closing ceremony and final game.
