World Cup 2026: France aim for third consecutive final against Spain

France face Spain in the semi-final in Dallas, aiming to become the second nation to reach three consecutive World Cup finals.

The French national team will take on Spain in Dallas on Tuesday in the World Cup semi-final. Les Bleus hope to become only the second nation in history to reach three consecutive World Cup finals.

Meanwhile, defender Lucas Digne is set to return to Paris Saint-Germain, which he left in 2016. Belgian midfielder Thorgan Hazard has signed a two-season contract with RC Lens.

In rugby, France's U20 team beat New Zealand (26–22) in the semi-final of the World Cup and will face South Africa in the final. Erling Haaland and the Norwegian team have returned home after the World Cup.
