On the evening of September 4, the Latvian Journalists' Association (LŽA) held its annual awards ceremony at the NOASS art center, presenting the "Excellence Awards 2026."
The awards recognize professionally outstanding journalistic work as well as the authors behind it, whose contributions are considered socially significant and influential in shaping public awareness.
An annual tradition
The LŽA Excellence Awards are presented every year, serving as a mark of professional recognition for journalists and media outlets whose work is seen as an example of quality and responsible journalism in Latvia.
