Latvia's Pauls Jonass finishes fifth at MXGP China Grand Prix
Latvian motocross rider Pauls Jonass placed fifth overall at the China Grand Prix after two fifth-place moto finishes, moving up to tenth in the world championship standings. Dutch rider Jeffrey Herlings remained unbeatable at the event.

Latvian motocross racer Pauls Jonass, who rides for the Kawasaki factory team, delivered a consistent performance at the MXGP China Grand Prix, finishing fifth in both motos of the class.
The result placed him fifth overall at this event, the 18th and second-to-last round of the motocross world championship season. Season leader Jeffrey Herlings of the Netherlands once again proved dominant in China, with no rider able to match him.
Standings boost
Thanks to his fifth-place finish, Jonass climbed to tenth place in the overall world championship standings. With the season nearing its conclusion, one round remains before the final standings are decided.
Jonass continues to be one of Latvia's most prominent representatives in international motocross, competing at the top level as part of the Kawasaki factory team.
