After Holosiivskyi Terrorist Attack, Kyiv Patrol Police Gets New Chief
Major Yegor Golubov has been appointed as the new head of Kyiv patrol police, having started his service in 2016 in Donetsk region. The previous chief was removed after the April 18 shooting that killed 7 people.

On Monday, the personnel of the Kyiv patrol police were introduced to their new leader – Police Major Yegor Golubov, according to the press service of the capital's patrol police.
Golubov began his service in the patrol police in 2016 in the Donetsk region. He has risen through all ranks, from patrol officer to battalion commander. In recent years, he served as commander of a patrol police battalion in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. The police note that in this position he carried out priority strategic tasks during the full-scale invasion in the frontline region.
The previous head of the Kyiv patrol police since March 2023 was Police Major Yaroslav Kurbakov. After the shooting in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv on April 18, which claimed the lives of 7 people, a number of top officials of the National Police and Patrol Police left their positions. In particular, the head of the Patrol Police Department, Yevgeniy Zhukov, resigned voluntarily. Yaroslav Kurbakov was removed from his post with a demotion.
