After more than five years off air, beloved Latvian series “Radiņi” returns for season four
The popular Latvian television series “Radiņi” is back after a break of more than five years, with a new season centered on a generational clash within the family. New episodes have been streaming on Go3 since August 3, with a TV3 broadcast to follow in October.
The Latvian television series “Radiņi” is returning to screens after an absence of more than five years. The fourth season picks up nine years after the events of the previous one, continuing the comic story of a lively family.
The children have grown up
Dace and Reinis have returned to Latvia with their children. Katrīna, remembered by viewers as a small girl, is now a teenager, and the family has grown with nine-year-old twins Miks and Rasa.
A new generational conflict
Peace in the family proves short-lived: Katrīna suddenly becomes drawn to the gothic lifestyle, prompting her parents and grandparents to question their approach to raising children. The adults try to manage the situation with advice, bans and rather eccentric parenting experiments, while the younger generation responds with increasingly resourceful and unpredictable moves.
The season brings a string of misunderstandings — belongings go missing, staged dramatic scenes are set up, the children run away from a scout camp, and the adults are eventually forced into a kind of “peace treaty.” Just as the family seems to be finding common ground, events take an unexpected turn that makes everyone realize what matters most is not winning an argument, but keeping the family together.

The show is produced by the production company “Seriālu māja.” The main roles are played by Rasa Estere Ērgle, Eduards Muravskis, Eva Siugale, Juris Hiršs, Ilze Pukinska, Zane Burnicka, Laura Atelsone, Emīls Kivlenieks, Artis Robežnieks and Evelīna Ivanova.
The new season has been available on the streaming platform Go3 since August 3, and will reach viewers on the TV3 channel in October.
