Ukrainian Drone Strike Sets Tyumen Oil Refinery on Fire
A Ukrainian drone attack on Saturday caused a fire at an oil refinery in Tyumen, Russia, while Russian drone strikes in the Ukrainian city of Sumy killed five people.
Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in the Siberian city of Tyumen on Saturday, sparking a blaze, according to videos posted online. Tyumen region governor Alexander Moor confirmed the drone attack on the refinery and the resulting fire. This is not the first time Ukrainian drones have targeted this facility.
On the same day, a Russian drone strike in Sumy killed three drivers for the postal company Nova Poshta, said Sumy regional military administration head Oleh Hrihorov. The attack hit the parking lot of a sorting terminal, causing a fire. Several other drivers were wounded, but their condition is stable.
Earlier on Friday, a Russian drone attack on Sumy killed two people, according to Sumy city military administration head Serhiy Kryvosheyenko. One victim was a 49-year-old man; the other's identity is being established.
In Zaporizhzhia, one man was wounded in an enemy attack, said Zaporizhzhia regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov.
Meanwhile, the governor of Russia's Belgorod region reported a "massive enemy drone attack" on Belgorod city on Saturday, resulting in casualties, damage, and street fires.
