Sunday will see an improvement, as the mercury rises to +22…+26°C. On Monday, an anticyclone will strengthen, bringing summer-like warmth. Most of the country will warm up to +20…+25°C, while some places could see temperatures as high as +27…+28°C.
July 10 is known in Latvian folklore as the Day of Seven Brothers. It is believed that rain on this day foretells seven rainy weeks, whereas sunny weather predicts a sunny remainder of summer.
