After Cool and Rainy Days, Latvia to Experience Summer Heat: Temperatures Could Reach +28°C
Following a cool and rainy weekend, summer warmth will return to Latvia early next week, with temperatures climbing to +27…+28°C in some areas on Monday.

Today, Friday, isolated thunderstorms are still expected in Latvia, with daytime highs ranging from +18°C to +23°C. Saturday will also be rainy and cool, with temperatures only reaching +16…+20°C.
Sunday will see an improvement, as the mercury rises to +22…+26°C. On Monday, an anticyclone will strengthen, bringing summer-like warmth. Most of the country will warm up to +20…+25°C, while some places could see temperatures as high as +27…+28°C.
July 10 is known in Latvian folklore as the Day of Seven Brothers. It is believed that rain on this day foretells seven rainy weeks, whereas sunny weather predicts a sunny remainder of summer. However, meteorologists note that such folk beliefs are not always accurate, and official forecasts should be followed.
