European Championships: Efimova finishes fourth in 50m breaststroke
Estonian swimmer Eneli Efimova finished fourth in the 50m breaststroke final at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, again missing out on a medal.

Estonian national team swimmer Eneli Efimova failed to win a medal in the 50m breaststroke event at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris. She finished fourth in the final, completing the distance in exactly 30 seconds.
That time was 0.07 seconds slower than her Saturday evening semifinal swim, in which she posted the second-fastest overall time. She missed her own Estonian national record by 0.17 seconds.
The race was won by Lithuania's Ruta Meilutyte with a time of 29.93 seconds.
Other pool results
In the men's 50m freestyle, Ukraine's Nykyta Sheremet took the win. In the same event the previous evening, Estonian swimmer Ralf Tribuntsov set a new national record of 21.91 seconds, but even that result left him in last place, 16th, in his round, and he did not advance to the final.
