In Pärnu, 78 graduates complete high school with medals

This year in Pärnu, 78 gymnasium graduates received medals – 42 gold and 36 silver. The local government held a ceremonial reception and awarded cash prizes.

In Pärnu, 78 high school graduates have completed their studies with medals this year: 42 received gold medals and 36 silver. The city authorities organized a formal reception to honor the outstanding graduates. Gold medalists were congratulated by Mayor Kristel Voltenberg and Vice Mayor Varje Tipp. The municipality also provided cash rewards: gold medalists received 200 euros each, and silver medalists received 100 euros. Mayor Voltenberg wished the young people success in their further studies and lives, emphasizing the importance of their achievements. She expressed genuine pleasure and honor in congratulating them on their excellent academic results, noting that their determination, hard work, and thirst for knowledge led to a truly significant outcome. According to her, the medal is not only recognition of their work but also an important starting point for future development. Voltenberg also urged graduates to maintain ties with their hometown, even if their paths take them outside Pärnu, and to return if possible to contribute to the city's development.
