Drunk Men Assault Teenager in Pärnu, Filming the Attack
Late on June 30, three drunk men attacked three teenagers in central Pärnu, severely beating one. The assault may have been motivated by the teens' punk-style clothing.

In Pärnu, late in the evening of June 30, three intoxicated men attacked a group of three teenagers, brutally beating one of them. According to the news outlet Pärnu Postimees, the teenagers, aged 15–16, were returning home when they were ambushed at the beginning of Lai Street, near the park and garages on the banks of the Pärnu River.
The likely motive for the attack was the teenagers' punk-style clothing. One of the victims was forced to kneel, choked, had a knee pressed against his throat, and had his earrings ripped out.
The father of one of the victims stated that the incident was filmed on camera. The victims have filed a police report, and the police are aware of potential suspects involved in the attack.
