The driver reported noticing smoke coming from the engine compartment while crossing the Vanšu Bridge. To avoid stopping on the bridge, he immediately moved into the right lane and turned onto Pils Square.
Initially, the driver attempted to extinguish the flames using the car's fire extinguisher. Firefighters soon arrived and took over the operation. No injuries were reported.
