Driver critically injured after crash with truck near Salaspils

The crash reportedly occurred after a 73-year-old driver of the passenger car failed to properly check that the road was clear and pulled out in front of a truck hauling construction waste, leading to a collision between the two vehicles.

The driver of the passenger car sustained severe injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital in critical condition. The incident was reported by the program "Degpunktā".
