Yellow warning for heavy thunderstorms issued for Kurzeme and Vidzeme on Friday

Latvia's Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre has issued a yellow weather warning for Friday covering two regions of the country.
The warning applies to Kurzeme and most of the Vidzeme region, where heavy thunderstorms accompanied by intense rainfall are expected.
A yellow warning level indicates that weather conditions may pose some risk, so residents in the affected areas are advised to monitor forecasts and be aware of possible disruptions caused by intense rain and thunderstorms.
