From the afternoon, westerly gusts of 24–29 m/s are expected on the western coast of Kurzeme, the western region of Latvia. In the evening and overnight into Saturday, westerly gusts across most of the country will reach 17–22 m/s, and in some places on the Vidzeme coast gusts of up to 26 m/s are possible.

It will rain on and off in Riga. Southerly and southwesterly wind gusts will strengthen to 17 m/s, while in the evening, mainly late in the evening, westerly gusts of up to 22 m/s are expected. The air temperature will fall to +9 degrees.
