Motocross events and Baltic sidecar festival take place at Pīlādži track this weekend
This weekend, July 11-12, the Pīlādži sports and recreation park in Stelpe hosts the Latvian Cup motocross round and the Baltic Sidecar Festival, featuring races in various classes and family-friendly activities.

This weekend, on July 11 and 12, the sports and recreation park Pīlādži in Stelpe will become a gathering place for motorsports enthusiasts. It will host one of the summer's most significant motocross events: a round of the Latvian Cup and the Baltic Sidecar Festival.
On Saturday, July 11, the program includes the Latvian Cup motocross competition. Participants will compete in 16 different classes, ranging from the youngest MX50 Rūķi and MX65 riders to the MX60+ veteran class. The first races are scheduled for 9:45 AM.
On Sunday, July 12, the Baltic Sidecar Festival and the Pīlādži Cup will continue. The sidecar festival features quad and sidecar classes, while the Pīlādži Cup includes races in MX15+, MX30+, MX40+, and MX60+ categories. Sunday's races begin at 11:00 AM.
The event is designed for the whole family. Visitors will have access to a children's playground, a café, and a swimming spot by the pond.
Admission for adults is €10, while seniors, youth aged 13-16, and persons with Group I disability pay €7. Children up to 12 years old can enter for free. Parking costs €3.
