Pilot 'writes' boredom in the sky during test flight
A pilot's flight path over England and Wales spelled out 'I'm bored', sparking a social media frenzy.

A small Piper Tomahawk aircraft operated by Ravenair took off from Liverpool Airport on Saturday for a two-hour test flight. The flight path, tracked by Flightradar24 at an altitude of about 335 meters, revealed an unusual pattern: the words 'I'm bored'.
According to Wayne Barrett, flight operations manager, the young pilot was conducting a test flight after replacing a cylinder on the plane. Barrett told the BBC that while the pilot might have been slightly bored, writing the message required considerable focus. He noted that the pilot faces no trouble for the stunt, and the aircraft is now safely in the hangar, with the pilot on holiday.
This is not the first such incident – in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a pilot over Austria 'wrote' 'Stay home' in a 24-minute flight.
