On Monday, weather in Latvia will be influenced by a cyclone to the east and an anticyclone to the west, resulting in mostly light cloud cover. However, some rain and thunderstorm clouds will develop during the day. Thunderstorms may bring heavy downpours and gusty winds. Winds will be light to moderate from the north and northwest.
Air temperatures will rise to +28°C in some areas, while in Riga, dry and sunny weather will see temperatures reach +24°C. Coastal regions will be a few degrees cooler. Atmospheric pressure will range from 1013 hPa in Latgale to 1019 hPa in Kurzeme.
Ultraviolet radiation will be high between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., so it is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
