Monday's forecast brings more rain to parts of Latvia
According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Monday will see scattered brief rain showers and changeable cloud cover across Latvia. Temperatures will range from about +7 to +21 degrees over the course of the day.
The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĢMC) forecasts that Monday will again bring mixed weather to Latvia, with brief rain expected in parts of the country.
Overnight
Overnight into Monday, cloud cover will be variable and short rain showers are expected in some areas. As wind eases, fog will form in certain regions. Overnight temperatures will drop to +7..+12 degrees, with coastal areas staying slightly warmer than the rest of the country.
Daytime
During the day, sunshine is expected in many places, though clouds will periodically cover the sky. From midday onward, brief rain showers are forecast in parts of the country. Daytime temperatures will rise to +16..+21 degrees.
Riga
In the capital, occasional rain will continue overnight, though clouds will clear at times. Overnight temperatures in Riga will fall to +10..+12 degrees. Around midday, Riga will also see brief rain, while wind will remain slow to moderate from the west. Once skies clear, the maximum temperature in the capital will reach around +20 degrees.
