Ukraine to see mostly dry Monday with gusty winds in left-bank areas

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center predicts mostly dry weather for Monday, 7 September, with only light local rain in the east and gusts reaching 15–18 metres per second on the left bank during the daytime.

Monday, 7 September, is expected to be mostly dry across Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, precipitation is unlikely over most of the country, though some eastern areas may see light rain in places.

The wind will blow from the northwest at 7–12 metres per second. In left-bank parts of the country, daytime wind gusts could intensify to 15–18 metres per second at times.

Nighttime temperatures will range from 6 to 11 degrees Celsius, while afternoon highs will reach 17–22 degrees. The southern regions will be warmer, with overnight lows of 9–14 degrees and daytime highs of 20–25 degrees.

In Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, Monday will also be dry. Fog is possible in places across the region during the night and morning hours. The wind there is expected to be northwestern, blowing at 7–12 metres per second.

In Kyiv Oblast, temperatures at night will be between 6 and 11 degrees, and in the daytime between 17 and 22 degrees. In the capital itself, the thermometer will show 9–11 degrees at night and 20–22 degrees during the day.
