Mežaparks played host to a new musical experience in July – the 'La-Di-Da-Di' garden festival. Held over two days, on July 7 and 8, the event chose the 'Zaļais teātris' (Green Theatre) as its venue, nestled within the park's green surroundings.

Over the course of the festival, attendees enjoyed performances by eight different bands and ten music DJs. According to the organizers, the event was tailored for an adult audience, which was reflected in both the selection of artists and the overall atmosphere.

Although the festival was held for the first time, its creators hope it may become an annual tradition, providing a platform for indie music artists and DJs, as well as bringing together like-minded listeners. Initial feedback and attendance figures indicate that the concept was met with interest.

Overall, the 'La-Di-Da-Di' garden festival in Mežaparks marks a new chapter in Latvia's music festival landscape, particularly for indie genre enthusiasts. The choice of venue – the Green Theatre – added a special ambiance, blending the natural environment with music.
