Organizers: 77% of ticket holders already refunded for canceled Pitbull concert

Organizers of the canceled Pitbull concert in Riga have provided an update on refunds. According to the organizers, refunds must be completed within two weeks of the announcement of the cancellation. Until August 6, ticket holders had the option to swap their unused tickets for entry to a Calvin Harris concert. Then, between August 7 and August 13, refunds were issued to 77 percent of ticket buyers.

This means the majority of those who opted for a refund have already received their money. Those who have not yet been refunded can still do so within the remaining two-week period. The organizers advise ticket holders to monitor updates and contact the point of purchase if the refund has not arrived.

The Pitbull concert in Riga was called off, and the public was notified through a separate statement. Ticket holders were given two choices: exchange tickets for another concert or receive a refund. The exchange option for the Calvin Harris show was available until August 6, after which the refund process began.

Organizers stress that the refund procedure is following the rules and will be completed by the end of the week. People who bought tickets and have not yet requested a refund can still get their money back. The official announcement did not specify the reason for the cancellation, but organizers are keeping the public informed about the process.
