Pīternieks: Žagars to have significant role in Chinese club

Artūrs Žagars, the playmaker of the Latvian national basketball team, will continue his career with Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). This was confirmed by Krists Pīternieks, a Latvian basketball coach working in China, in a statement to LETA.

Pīternieks said that Žagars has been assigned a significant role in the team. At the same time, the coach noted that one of the biggest challenges will be coping with the intense season workload.
