A Historic Evening of Musical Highlights

On the evening of July 29, the legendary Spanish tenor Plácido Domingo stepped onto the stage of the Dzintari Concert Hall for the first time in Latvia. He shared this special evening with Latvian soprano Kristīne Opolais and American tenor Michael Fabiano. The conductor was Valentīns Uriupins.

The program included works by composers such as Verdi, Puccini, Leoncavallo, Giordano, Cilea, Dvořák, Sorozábal, and Lehár. All three performers appeared both solo and in duets, and the evening concluded with a joint performance of the famous "O sole mio." Each artist's appearance was met with prolonged applause from the audience.
