Noise raises $5.5M to turn everyday people into paid brand creators

Marketing platform Noise has raised a $5.5 million seed round to expand its service that lets anyone become a paid content creator for brands. The platform pays per view rather than a flat fee and already counts 1.5 million creators.

Marketing platform Noise announced on Wednesday a $5.5 million seed round led by Capital Midwest, M25 and Girshin Robotics, bringing its total funding to $7.2 million. Other participants included CapitalizeVC and individual operators from companies such as DoorDash.

Noise connects brands with content creators at a lower cost than traditional influencer marketing. Anyone can join the platform regardless of follower count and apply to campaigns brands post, creating content on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube. Unlike traditional influencer deals, which typically pay a flat fee, Noise pays creators per view.

Brands submit content briefs and budgets, and Noise handles the rest — recruiting creators, managing relationships and processing payments — allowing brands to run campaigns across thousands of creators simultaneously.

Growth and future plans

The company was founded in 2025 by Diego Kafie, Stu Feldt and Nic Weber, who had previously spent two years building a mobile game app called Playbite. Noise now counts 1.5 million creators on its platform, and CEO Kafie said its top earners make more than six figures annually. Noise takes a cut of what brands pay once views are delivered.

The idea for Noise came from the founders' experience at Playbite, where they trained everyday users to create promotional content, driving a sharp rise in app installs at a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing.

The new funding will go toward expanding product features and hiring. Noise also recently launched its Organic-to-Ads program, which lets brands turn creator-made videos into paid ads on Meta and TikTok, in addition to creators' organic posts.

New users complete training modules when they join, initially gaining access to limited campaigns, with higher-paid opportunities opening up as they gain experience.
