Playbook Paris podcast signs off for summer with look at 2027 presidential race
Politico Europe's Playbook Paris podcast released its final episode before the summer break, examining the state of the 2027 French presidential campaign and who can afford to take a vacation.

Politico Europe's podcast Playbook Paris has published its last episode before the summer hiatus. In this edition, journalist Anthony Lattier, along with colleagues Pauline de Saint Remy and Elisa Bertholomey, analyzed the current state of the 2027 French presidential campaign.
The central question of the episode was: which of the potential candidates can go on vacation with peace of mind, and who cannot afford to pause their campaign? Among the figures discussed were Marine Le Pen, Édouard Philippe, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Raphaël Glucksmann, Gabriel Attal, François Hollande, and Bruno Retailleau.
The podcast will return on August 31 after the summer break. This is the final episode before the seasonal pause.
