Pogačar Wins Fifth Tour de France Title

Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar secured his fifth overall victory at the Tour de France on Sunday, finishing the 21st stage in Paris.

The 27-year-old Pogačar has been unbeaten in the last three editions, having previously won the title in 2020 and 2021. In the final stage on Sunday, riders covered nearly 89 kilometers through Paris, finishing on the Champs-Élysées. The route was divided into six small laps, then three larger laps including the cobbled climb of Montmartre. Pogačar's lead before the last stage was over six minutes, making his victory secure. The 2026 Tour de France also featured Latvian riders Toms Skujiņš and Krists Neilands, who finished the race.
